How does it feel to take back your varsity win?
“After losing last year, we were all really motivated to put things right. We knew we were good enough and that we deserved the win, so it feels amazing to take it back and finish my last game for CUNC on such a high.”
How did you find the support from the Cardiff students?
“The support from the Cardiff students made a huge difference. When the score was tight early on, their energy really helped us keep momentum and step it up. The noise and encouragement pushed us in key moments, especially when we needed to turn over the ball and convert our shots.”
What was a key memorable moment for you as a team during the match?
“Definitely when the final whistle went and the whole club ran onto the court. Being able to celebrate that moment together, with all your friends around you, is something you don’t forget.”
