This year was the first varsity I’ve been to in my time at CU (I regret not going prior). Although the sports played were not exactly my forte, and I didn’t know all the rules it was electrifying nonetheless.
It was also lovely because people helped explain all of the different sports to me! It was so so so wonderful to see everyone getting along, having a great time.
The level of dedication and skill from the players was exemplary and extraordinary as well! Everyone was so supportive and even the weather complemented the warm atmosphere on the day.
The town was thriving with red and green as I walked through and the multiple sporting locations were equally as competitive. However, in the end I was glad to see Cardiff take home the win!
It truly is a remarkable day of coming together and celebrating the joy of sport at Cardiff University.
